Fuente del Fresno is one of the best residential areas north of Madrid. Located within the Regional Park Cuenca Alta del Manzanares, its entrance is at Km 23 of the A-1 highway.
Its location, bordering Pesadilla Hill and Viñuelas Estate makes it an unbeatable place for those who want to live in nature. In 1954 the property development company Fuente del Fresno was created and since then it has not stopped growing.
Fuente del Fresno has a sports area which includes paddle tennis, soccer, basketball and a basketball court, a large playground, a shopping area and a private security company with 24 hours surveillance service. There is a post office in the housing complex, offering convenience for sending and receiving mail and parcels. Also, it has a regular public bus service that runs through the housing complex to the main areas around the Plaza de Castilla in Madrid. Fuente del Fresno also enjoys the parish of Our Lady of Fuente del Fresno where Father Javier serves the parishioners.
The approximate census is 3,000 people and its 22 kilometers of roads, together with the great amount of hiking and biking routes within the Viñuelas Estate and the Pesadilla Hill makes it ideal for the family outings and bike rides. Fuente del Fresno is made up exclusively of single-family homes with average plots of 2,000 square meters. At a distance of 5 minutes by car, there are two bilingual schools and a nursery school.
Fuente del Fresno also has quick access to the local industrial parks and the Infanta Sofía Hospital where the Madrid Metro network can be accessed.
All these characteristics make Fuente del Fresno a privileged environment, surrounded by nature, but without giving up security and services of the city.
